Damilola Ayowole is a visionary public health physician, humanitarian, and the dynamic founder of Jerry & Praise Foundation International (JPFI). With an unwavering commitment to improving community health and empowering underserved populations, he has dedicated his career to transforming healthcare delivery and advancing social change across Nigeria and beyond.

He earned his medical degree (MBChB) at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Nigeria; and has continually expanded his expertise through numerous fellowships and specialized training. He is a Global Goodwill Ambassador, Global Peace Ambassador, and a distinguished YALI Fellow. His advanced training in global health research, epidemiology, and project management—gained at institutions such as the University of Washington and the Global Institute of Peace, Justice and Liberty—has empowered him to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and community-driven public health initiatives.

He is a seasoned leader with over 10 years of experience in community health and volunteer work, and has managed high-impact projects across multiple healthcare settings, from tertiary hospitals to grassroots community outreach programs. His expertise in emergency care, infectious disease management, and strategic public health interventions has earned him numerous awards, affirming his status as a trailblazer in the medical and humanitarian sectors.

His passion for service is matched by his ability to inspire and mobilize teams, forge strategic partnerships, and influence health policies that drive progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
